Hi! I’m Amy ~

Welcome to Window of Worship!

…a safe place to learn how to know God in the details of everyday life. You will watch in amazement as consistent, profound encounters with the Trinity change the way you know God, know yourself, and respond to the world around you.

Knowing Changes Everything

I believe every moment, every circumstance, is a platform to know God more intimately.

No detail is too small. No tragedy too big. He is present—with love, wisdom, and power—in each one, and we can learn to recognize, hear, and embrace Him right there in the precious, messy middle.

With tons of resources out there to help you know God, what’s different here?

  • First, alongside the Bible, I share personal stories from walking out my days with the Holy Spirit—both the joy and the suffering.

Nothing excites me more than hearing God speak. His words can cut through the darkest night, the noisiest clamor, and the torment of pain and fear. He also laughs with us, sings over us, and shares His hidden mysteries. I know because I’ve seen and heard Him many, many times.

But we can miss Him if we don’t know what we’re looking or listening for.

By sharing experiences from my own journey, I hope to give you a better grid to learn to recognize God’s presence and movement in and around you.

  • Second, I love to take deep, rich information and boil it down to its simplest form.

I started my writing career as a newspaper journalist so condensing information has long been my writing style. When I write, teach, or lead worship, I always ask my Father, “What’s the bottom-line? What do You want to say?” and that’s the target.

In cutting out the unnecessary fluff, I aim to make taking the next step with the Trinity more clear and accessible for you.

  • Third, my goal is not for you to become dependent upon me.

I’m not interested in being the necessary middle-man in your walk with God. My goal is to help put your hand in His and let Him take it from there.

I want to pique your interest and give glimpses of the awe and beauty of our Creator, as I see it, through the words and videos I share. My ultimate goal, however, is for you to become your own window of worship, inviting all who pass your way to be in awe of God in your life.

"I supported your work because you openly live out a level of authenticity that beckons me into my own journey. Your vulnerability reminds me that it’s okay to be in process! And your relatability encourages me to look in the mirror."

My friend, Amy Layne Litzelman, is a woman who has been on a journey with God. She writes with beauty, wisdom, and grace as one who has experienced deep dealings from the Father.

…Amy gives us more than a chronicle of her discoveries; she gives us the fragrance of meekness, a revelation of the heart of one who is being taught and instructed. She also offers us a profound vision of the kindness of God.

Amy is more than a writer; she is a guide, extending her hand and offering you an invitation.

Excerpt from Foreword, This Beloved Road Vol. II: Into the Source

If you’re tired of life feeling like a roller coaster—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—let’s take a deep breath and step into the beauty, peace, and power of knowing the One who calls you by name and has been gazing at you since your conception.

He loves you and wants you to know it with every step.
Even in the dark.
Even in the storm.

I want to help you learn to recognize Him there.
